Go beyond technical excellence. Become a confident engineering leader.

About me
I'm Adam Czuprak. I've sat on both sides of the table.
For more than 20 years, I've worked in software as an Engineer, Team Lead, Engineering Manager, CTO, and co-founder across startups and international companies. I'm now applying that experience to mentoring engineers through their own career decisions.
I've seen excellent engineers get stuck at the next stage of their careers—not because they lacked technical ability, but because the skills that got them this far weren't always the skills they needed next.
That's what led me to mentoring.
Over more than 10 years in leadership, I've led and mentored engineering teams, reviewed hundreds of CVs, conducted technical and leadership interviews, and supported engineers and engineering managers through career transitions and growth.
I've also built and led multicultural teams across Austria, Canada, Hungary, the UK, and the US, working in both startups and large international organisations.
My mentoring combines this hands-on experience with practical coaching. We focus on the decisions, skills, communication, and challenges that matter in your specific situation—not generic career advice.
I've built software, led teams, and developed products at:
What people I worked with say
Helping engineers grow
He was instrumental in my growth—actively sponsoring my progression from Junior to Medior Software Engineer.
Creating trust & psychological safety
Adam excels at creating a low-ego, highly collaborative environment where developers feel safe asking questions and taking ownership.
Leadership before the title
Even in that relatively short time, it was clear he had the makings of a strong leader.
He consistently stepped forward to help colleagues, drive solutions, and clear obstacles so others could succeed.
Creating alignment across teams
As a scrum master, he's the ‘glue’ of the team and always knew everything that was going on around the team and all the other teams.
My approach
I believe everyone's career and leadership journey is unique, shaped by their strengths, goals, and context.
- Clarity — Where am I going?
- Capability — What skills do I need to build?
- Contribution — How do I create greater impact?
This is the mental model behind my mentoring. We use it to turn a vague feeling that “I should be doing more” into a clearer direction, the capabilities you need to build, and concrete next steps.
